1) How far in advance do I call your office to schedule a cleaning?
Due to the advanced scheduling of our Elite Maids, we would appreciate a 2-day Notice for all of our housekeeping services.
2) What if I want to eliminate rooms for a lower price?
Due to the already low maid service prices that our Referrals offer, we are not able to lower the prices on our housekeeping services..
3) How do I pay for my service?
Payment is accepted on the day of each maid visit. All of our first time house cleanings must be paid by cash. Thereafter, we can
accept checks, cash or credit cards for our Referral Services. Checks are made payable to "Elite Maid Referral Agency". Any maid services over $100.00 must have a credit card on file; Elite
will hold the amount of the cleaning and release the hold once payment is received.
4) What time will the maids arrive at my home?
Elite Maids' workdays are Monday Thru Saturday with arrival times of:
08:00 am - 09:30 am
11:00 am - 12:00 noon
01:00 pm - 02:00 pm
03:00 pm - 04:00 pm
Note: Last minute maid service appointments scheduled 3 days or less have arrival times of 8-2 & 11-4:00
5) Do the maids know what needs to be done in my home?
Because everyone’s cleaning needs are different and what may be clean to one client may not be clean to
another…please discuss with your Domestic Worker upon thier arrival.
6) If we locate a maid through your Referral Agency that we really enjoy can we request them on a continuous basis?
Most of our experienced maids are quickly booked by recurring clients. We suggest that you schedule your recurring
maid service based on their availability.
7) What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on the observance of a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your housekeeping services.
8) What happens if I forget my scheduled cleaning?
For your convenience, our friendly staff will call to remind you of your house cleaning. Due to the advanced scheduling of the maids, should you need to cancel or
reschedule a cleaning, we would appreciate a call prior to your cleaning date.
9) Does someone need to be home when the maids arrive?
There are a variety of arrangements that can be made for maid entry should you not be there for the cleaning. Once you have established a recurring maid service together you can decide what is the best entry arrangement.
10) How much should I tip my maids?
Tips are alwa appreciated, but not required...you decide.
11) Are your maids Independent Domestic Workers or Employees?
All maids referred are Independent Domestic Workers of Elite Maid. Elite Maid
Referral Agency is not the employer of the domestic worker it refers to you.
The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending
on the
relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and
control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her
work, you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and
workers compensation, under
state and federal law. For additional information, contact your local Employment Development
Department and the Internal Revenue Service.
12) What if something is damaged when my home is cleaned?
The referred Domestic Worker treat your home with the greatest care; however should damage
or breakage occur while the maids are cleaning your home, arrangements should
be
made directly with the maids, as they are independent domestic workers.
13) What if I am not satisfied with my maid that you refer?
If you are not satisfied for any any reason, we will refer a different Domestic Worker on your next scheduled visit. Your complete satisfaction is very important to us.
14) Do you offer Gift Certificates?
We sure do! Contact our office for details on our maid service gift certificates.
15) What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hour notice if you need to change or cancel your scheduled cleaning. Less than 1 day notice may result in a $25 cancellation fee.
